‍We are truly happy to officially announce our partnership with Stanbic Business Incubator, which provides training, mentoring and business development services to Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Stanbic Business Incubator was among the institutions that refused to let COVID-19 stop their training, and instead utilized an e-learning management system as well as the Diwala platform to keep their training and certification of that training active.

Together with Stanbic Business Incubator, we have adapted the Diwala platform to issue certificates to companies in addition to individuals— enabling a business to be represented by an email or phone number and have its own Skill Identity account.

Stanbic Business Incubator used the Diwala platform to issue more than 1000 certificates to companies and startups all over Uganda during their graduation in February 2021.

In addition to the Diwala Skill Identity App, which allows individuals and companies to store and easily share their certificates with employees or investors, we have built features in the Diwala platform that also allows people or companies that do not have smartphones, to receive digitally verifiable PDF certificates. These features enabled students and businesses from all over Uganda to receive certificates for their training remotely and digitally with the Stanbic Business Incubator program. Our mission in Diwala is to always build inclusive technology that does not leave anyone behind.

Albert Cook, one of the students was proud and happy to receive his digitally verifiable certificate from Stanbic Business Incubator. He participated with his company; Mutual Trust Tours, Travel and Events Management Limited in the Stanbic Business Enterprise development program. We are very excited to see the possibilities this training and certification will give him and his company.

“To the SMEs in Uganda, this technology will allow agility, trust, scale and much more, contribute to saving the environment. It is our continued hope that these digital certificates will be much more adopted by many more certificate issuing entities in the country for a better future.

Any support rendered to the team and company to further its goals and dream will come highly recommended and needed.”
